Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how BrandPilot AI ("BrandPilot AI", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal information in connection with ClickRadar™, our ad intelligence platform, and the website at clickradar.io (together, the "Service"). It applies to visitors to our website and to personnel of the enterprises that use ClickRadar™.

1. Who we are

ClickRadar™ is developed and operated by BrandPilot AI. For privacy matters, BrandPilot AI is the controller of the personal information described in this policy, except where we process information on behalf of a customer, in which case the customer is the controller and we act as a processor. Our registered address is 120 Adelaide St. W., Suite 900, Toronto, ON M5H 3V1, Canada. BrandPilot AI is accountable for the personal information in its control under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Our Privacy Officer is responsible for our compliance and can be reached at privacy@clickradar.io.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you request a demo, contact us, or enter into an agreement with us, we collect information such as your name, business email address, company name, job title, and the contents of your messages.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, we collect limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and referring URLs. We use this to operate and secure the site and to understand aggregate usage.

Customer advertising data

To deliver the Service, we process advertising and analytics data from the ad platforms and accounts our customers connect to ClickRadar™. This data is processed on behalf of the customer under their instructions and our Data Processing Addendum.

3. How we use information

4. Consent and legal bases

Under PIPEDA, we collect, use, and disclose personal information only for purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances, and we rely on your consent. Consent may be express or implied depending on the sensitivity of the information and the context. You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal and contractual restrictions and reasonable notice; withdrawing consent may limit our ability to provide certain services.

For visitors and customers outside Canada, additional frameworks may apply. Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we also rely on performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and securing our business, your consent, and compliance with legal obligations.

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with: service providers who process data on our behalf under contract, such as hosting, analytics, and email providers; professional advisers; authorities where required by law; and parties to a corporate transaction such as a merger or acquisition. Any such sharing is subject to appropriate safeguards.

6. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies and storage, including those that remember your privacy choices, are always active because the site cannot function correctly without them. Non-essential analytics and session-analysis tools, described below, load only after you accept them through our cookie banner.

We use FouAnalytics to measure traffic quality and to identify invalid, automated, or fraudulent activity on the site. We use LogRocket to record and analyze how visitors interact with the site, including page views, navigation, clicks, and similar interaction events, so we can diagnose problems and improve the experience. These tools may set cookies and collect device and usage information such as IP address, browser and device characteristics, pages viewed, referring URLs, and interaction events. We configure session-analysis tools to mask or exclude sensitive input fields where reasonably possible.

When you first visit the site you can accept or decline non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice at any time through the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Declining non-essential cookies does not affect the parts of the site that are strictly necessary.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Customer advertising data is retained according to the terms of the applicable customer agreement and Data Processing Addendum.

8. Data security

We maintain administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse, including encryption in transit, access controls, logging, and regular review of our security practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than the one in which you are located. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or an equivalent mechanism.

10. Your rights

Under PIPEDA you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete, and to raise concerns about how we handle it. We will respond within the time required by law. If we cannot resolve a concern to your satisfaction, you may file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Residents of Quebec, British Columbia, and Alberta may have additional rights under provincial privacy legislation.

Depending on your location, you may also have rights under other laws. Where the GDPR applies, these can include deletion, restriction, objection, and data portability. California residents have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know, to delete, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; we do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, contact us at privacy@clickradar.io.

11. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
